North Shore Community Cabinet's Kentucky Derby Party Break out the mint juleps, bow ties, and big hats for the North Shore Community Cabinet's Kentucky Derby Party to benefit VNA Care Network's Cardiac Patient Care Program on Saturday, May 6, at 7 p.m. at the Salem Country Club, 133 Forest St., Peabody. The evening will feature live music, dancing, heavy hors d'oeuvres, and live and silent auctions. We'll pay homage to the fabulous and often outrageous hats spotted at the Kentucky Derby with a hat contest. Tickets are $50 per person and can be purchased online. The Kentucky Derby Party is the fifth annual spring fundraiser organized by the volunteers on the North Shore Community Cabinet. VNA Care Network's Cardiac Patient Care Program helps North Shore residents learn to manage their condition and improve their health.
